Sigma Brushes Review

Hello everyone, If you're not familiar with Sigma Brushes, it's an online store that sells affordable brushes

The numbers on their brushes used to correspond to the MAC brushes that it compares to. They are also hand made. The one that I have is the make me blush - Coral, it was given to me by my bear.
These brushes were not made to be 100% Like Mac so I will not compare them because they are 2 different brands.

I've been using this everyday since it arrived. Here's how the box looks like, you can see the entire plastic and packaging here.

It comes with a brochure that explains what all brushes are used for, also on their website as well.
It looks like this

It also comes with either a free traveling brush or a sample of their mini eyeshadow palette. The colors in this collection which is the Make Me, has the same exact brushes in the original Complete Kit set, and is 99 US $ also the same, you can choose any colors that you like, Make me Classy - Black, Make me Cool - Aqua, Make me Crazy - Purple and the make me collection comes in a brush holder instead of a brush roll.

What I noticed about these brushes are that the have very minimal sheddings after my first wash, All the eye brushes did not shed, only the Duo Fibre F50 and the Large Powder Brush F30 did shed

Their brushes have a holographic paint that looks super cool, somebody said the handles were painted with 7 coats of car paint for durability and a long lasting effect, I think I'm believing it now because the handles are super smooth and its a breath of fresh air after having a lot wooden felt brush handles haha

Eyeliner - E05

This brush is perfect for drawing a line or anything, I prefer to use the angled liner brush for my gel eyeliner, but if you don't like to use a certain liquid eyeliner's built in brush, this is great

Pencil - E30

I like this a lot, I use this for my highlights, on my inner corners and brow bone, this is also great for any everyday eyeshadow or for touch ups
! this is not the best brush for smudging because It's not dense and fluffy enough but It's okay.

Tapered Blending - E40

This brush is great for blending, you don't have to hold the brush from the far end to do a light blending because the bristles are very long for a blending brush

Eye Shading - E55

This brush is great to pack on colors! It's very very dense :)

Large Shader - E60

This brush is huge! I use this to get deep into the sockets of my eyes because it's ends are very soft so I look down, get my shadow for the crease and use this baby :) I only use the ends because it's so huge for an eye brush, I think most people would prefer the smaller brushes for packing on shadws, it also can substitute for a concealer brush anywhere around the face, for pimples, redness etc

Small Angle - E65

This brush is really thin and dense at the same time, It is surprisingly soft for an angled liner brush, great for pressing on eyeshadows for a line or for gel eyeliners

Medium Angled Shading - E70

This brush is great for contouring, I use this to contour my nose, you can use this for highlighting underneath the brow bone or for blending shadows in the crease area.

Large Powder - F30

This brush is huge!! This is actually the best face powder brush that I have because its super super soft :D the only downside is that it sheds a lot during the first wash but thats ok imo :)
Large Angled Contour - F40

The brush that does "Make me Blush" haha! I like this because it is super dense and fluffy, I use this for contouring and blushing my blushers~ This one can be tricky to make it stay in shape, I pull the Brush guard/jacket higher so that it's tighter and if you notice this brush in the overview picture, you'll notice that the ends sticks out abit.. but it can be straightened sometimes

Duo Fibre - F50

This brush is my favorite, I love all my duo fibre brushes or "skunk" brushes haha but this is really dense and great for applying blush, liquid foundation and even powder

Better background since it is super white~

Foundation - F60

This brush is really awesome, It applies my liquid foundations flawless, I think this is even better for a cream foundation as well because its so dense and sturdy yet flexible ^_^

Concealer - F70

This brush is my favorite among all the brushes! I reach out for this the most because it is so versatile, I love this for my concealers, paintpots, eyeshadows, I wish I can have more of this one! like 2 more haha!! :p

I really love the brush holders! They snap shut and when you open it, you can feel the air popping out like opening a cookie jar ^_^ this is really great for traveling

Overall

I really love these brushes, Infact I would use them on other people too! They are affordable, I remember 2 of my Mac Foundation brushes would cost the same as buying this entire kit..crazy..I wouldn't even say that they are comparable to Mac, I think they are even better in their own way! Mac never has sales and this kit is great for students, housewives, aspiring makeup artists like myself and anybody!

They are high quality and not scratchy at all! You can use your fingers or cotton swabs to apply make up but to achieve a flawless or a really great blend of colors, make up brushes are a must have and I honestly recommend Sigma Brushes. If you decided to get any, use my lin
ks so I gain some extra money ^_~

Oh and I'm keeping this cat box!! It's too cute!!! ^_^

  5. Omg Im so jealous you have this set!!! I really want to too but Im trying to refrain from buying it since there's only two or three brushes I would actually use! Oh poo! Im glad you like them though! I hear rave reviews of them too =) and I think you have a lovely face shape! To be honest I have no idea what shape my face is =(

When the anime has too many episodes it really discourages me from watching it T_T but then it's manga then it's a different story hahaha even if there is over 100 chapters I will still read it if I ike it =P I don't think I will ever get my bf hooked onto anime, the only one he likes is dragon ball hahahahahaa

I listed most of my favorite animes in my blog but Im still watching Squid Girl- Second Season now on Crunchy roll and I've read a bit of Vampire Knight too but it's too shoujo for my taste hahha yeah Im just a wierdo -.- Oh but I do like Deadman Wonderland! I know the manga and anime is going pretty mainstream and they're making the anime now! Oh and sometimes I like to read old manga like Doreamon LOL! Right now Im just reading random manga like Acony, just a general slice-of-life manga, I really like manga and anime like that! What's yours? =D
