Borghese Fango Pink Mud Mask Review

Hello!! a few months ago I got the Borghese Fango Brillante Mud Mask. I was really excited because I've wanted to try the Borghese mud mask for a very long time.. the green one then I decided to get the pink one instead! This can also be used on the body! I got this at Sasa 1 Utama for RM 224. If you get this at Selective @ Sasa it's RM 284 ridiculous because it's only a 5 minute walk from the new wing sasa (selective) to the old wing.. I looked up at almost every online store that ships to Malaysia but getting from Sasa is cheaper because the jar it comes with is super duper heavy so shipping price adds up..

The box it comes with~

It comes with this hugee sponge that is very important because this mask leaves pinks stains sometimes

Fancy jar and heavy too!

SOO Pink! it comes with a plastic ontop  that I threw out

The picture of it I found.. Comes close to the picture I took in my opinion

What it claims
Fango Brillante
Brightening Mud Mask For Face and Body

Natural vitamins and mineral-rich extracts even out skin tone, gently soothing and refining, helping to remove dead skin cells and erase the effects of environmental debris. A blend of Vitamin A and Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract works to leave skin brighter and more radiant.
What it does
  • Italian Mud - full of natural vitamins and mineral-rich extracts that even out skin tone and help remove dead skin cells and erase the effects of environmental debris.
  • Acqua di Vita® Complex - rehydrates and nourishes skin, revealing clearer, younger looking skin.
  • Vitamin A & Citrus Unishiu Peel Extract - for a brighter, more radiant complexion.
How to Use
  • Apply generously (about one quarter inch thick) to clean skin (face, neck and/or body). Avoid lip and eye area.
  • Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Rinse off thoroughly using sponge or washcloth.

source from Borghese.com read here!
I slathered it up all over my face~~ it's very smooth and shinny~~
After a few minutes~~ It's hard to smile with a mud mask on when it's getting dry soo forgive the fake ish smiles!
I'm trying to be sincere here x__x

It dries up after 10 minutes or so depending on how thick you have it on. It's recommended to use at least a quarter inch thick.
Ok it's getting awkward to have a pink face soo here's a pic of me and my cat Arti!!! Little Artemis is not so little anymore :')

This mask is great for people with oily skin..Oily skin only! I don't think mud masks were made for people with dry skin because it completely strips off your face's natural oil to get rid of the clogged pores and if you don't have clogged pores, white heads and black heads don't try this! I really like this mask a lot because it's soo fun to use and it does leave my face brighter! It's not too drying for a mud mask in my opinion!  My face doesn't feel completely thirsty after I wash it off!

The price is expensive for a face mask RM 224 but it lasts forever. I can safely say it'll last for about 2 years because I only use this once or twice a week! the other mask I use daily is Borneo seaweed mask that I'll review soon btw.. the other bad thing about this is that you really need a sponge because if it stains your face & it's pretty hard to remove the stains without a sponge! It's also very stinging if you don't use this enough a quarter inch thick..it can be quite painful at first too almost unbearable the first time I forgot to put enough

I saw many negative reviews on this product before buying it which makes me hesitant to try it out because it is a lot of money and they don't carry a smaller size here, but in I really like this a lot!

I rate this a 4 over 5!! hope you enjoyed reading this review! *_* Have you tried? let me know!

    1. Anthea, I have combination skin but I wouldn't recommend this to people who don't have a more towards oily combination skin because it's more for people who want to tighten the pores and deep cleansing I think it will hurt a lot for people with dry skin because it dries really fast on the drier part of my skin like my cheeks.. :)
